Students and parents at Empowering Children School in Newton Village had a Christmas potluck. Many children had speaking parts, impressing parents with their English skills. The evening’s festivities included music and dancing. 

Thanks to the gift of an anonymous donor, the children were treated to a very nice party. Parents, staff, and students enjoyed a good meal together. Teachers at Newton Village are volunteers who work for a stipend. Thanks also to an anonymous donor, each volunteer was given a small Christmas bonus. It was an evening of celebration for everyone.
